Conceived in a hauntingly dark corner of a dirty basement in Portland, The Horde have trudged through a short grief-stricken life. Like carcasses slung up on hooks, they packed themselves into a small coffin-like room to create fast, violent anthems of destruction. Wielding the band as a weapon, the four members (Mike Hay, Thomas Demise, Sammy Lugosi and Aaron Edge) unleashed a brief, but intense assault on the Northwest... leaving a four-song "s/t" (1-2-3-4 Go! Records) ep as a lonely tombstone in 2003, over a now exhumed grave. Reborn from the shadows of death and with an aching desire for annihilation, the choir of the damned have once again assembled.
