It’s Alive Records brings us a split from a couple of bands from across the globe, The Dazes and The Wimpys are both from Japan, but they’re music to the ears across the globe. The Dazes deliver two tracks of the pop rock that they’ve come to be known for. While the Wimpys bring us a couple of presumably Beach Boys inspired surf rock songs reminiscent of the Queers and Beatnik Termites. You can practly feel the sun and taste the sand while listing to their side of the record. All four songs together make for a fun highly enjoyable split record, one which has already been listened to multiple times (and I’ve only had it for a day). You might want to hurry up and order this one, first pressing is only five hundred.
