One of the best kept secrets on the UK underground punk scene, Chillerton started life as the Jawbreaker-influenced side-project of the Rock Sound and Kerrang magazine championed Jets Vs Sharks. Over the last few years Chillerton have become a highly regarded band in their own right, and after a couple of split releases and a debut EP on the cooler than cool Cat ÔN' Cakey label, here we have their much anticipated debut album "Bleak Unison". The record rages with raw, melodic punk, inspired by the likes of Leatherface, Gunmoll and Jawbreaker - in a scene rife with insipid and bland corporate "emo" rock, Chillerton are one of the best bands out to prove that there's still a valid and healthy punk rock scene in the UK.
