Charlotte, NC, indie/americana/rock sextet featuring ex members of punk/hardcore bands such as Obstruction, Meth Mtn., Nations and The Fire The Flood. These six individuals decided to expand their horizons and make a band that brought in some of their favorite types of music and genres. All of these guys grew up on a huge dose of Tom Petty and old country but still had a love for the DIY ethic of punk and indie music. Their sound brings to mind Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, early Lucero, Slobberbone mixed with the slacker aesthetic of Dinosaur Jr.
Their debut full length "People We Know" covers the full spectrum of topics as long as your full spectrum is friends and family. These 10 tracks are by far some of the best material this young band has written to date. Mixed and Mastered by the amazing Bo White (Yardwork, Calabi Yau).
