“Chicken Demos” marks the 3rd and final re-release of Drag the River’s albums on Upland Recordings. Many of the songs featured on “Chicken Demos” were recorded around the same time as the songs featured on “Hobo’s Demos”. At the time, the songs weren’t selected for Hobo’s because it was originally thought that the songs were not the band’s best material. After revisiting the songs, it was decided that they were crazy for not having released the songs earlier. “Chicken Demos” features some of Drag’s most requested songs such as “Calloused Heart”, “Lucky Joes”, and “Southbound Train”. Drag the River fans need this album to complete their collection.
